It is important for you to provide your child with a piano that is in tune, and a quiet private place to practice, away from the TV and family commotion. In order for your child to utilize the CD’s, it is imperative for you to provide your child with an instrument that is in tune. If you want to hold off getting a real piano, then you can start out with an electric keyboard, but a digital piano that is touch sensitive (capable of playing with a dynamic range from loud to soft) is a better choice. The keys must be the standard piano size with approximately 60 keys. The standard number of 88 keys and a sustain pedal outlet would be best.
Students must bring their music books to their weekly lessons. I will write notes in the margins of the music to clarify what they will be doing from week to week. All assignments will be dated on the day that they are first discussed. Completed work with have a stamp or sticker indicating that it has been mastered.

Private piano and guitar lessons are available whenever the extended day and summer programs are operating.
There is a $100.00 fee that is independent of the tuition cost and is non-refundable.

It guarantees your slot for the spring and fall semester and covers, books, CD’s and the recital.

The tuition for the fall semester is $500.00
The tuition for the spring semester is $500.00

I will be offering piano lessons at JCDS during the summer camp
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons for any student that is not attending camp from 12:00 until 2:30.
Campers can book lessons from 3:00 until 5:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The fee is $120.00 for four lessons at the school.

I am also offering four home visits for $240.00 or four sessions at my studio for $120.00.

Anyone interested in registering early for lessons for the Fall can contact me at any time.The administrative binder fee is $100.00. The balance for the Fall term will be due in full at the beginning of the Fall session. My present students will have until then to register in order to keep their appointment time or let me know another preference. Changes in schedule can be accommodated after the May 8th deadline. Those of you that might be interested in attending the recital on May 8th at 3:30 in the Fine Arts Auditorium at JCDS are welcome.
